NICE JOB!
My new 75 Shadow is a little "sharp" on the weak-hand side of the beavertail;   but I can't get it smoothed to spare my thumb  and still stay comp. legal.
I'm jealous.

I have not held a Shadow yet but I used the dual tone version as my inspiration. It looks like the upswept beavertails would feel 10x better than the old ones. Go ahead and smooth it out I wont tell. ;)

Not long, I've always wanted a CZ and I just assumed I would get a 75B. One day I went to the LGS and saw a used 85 for a good price. Well I was regretting immediately, it was used, only had one mag and I wasn't too excited about the ambi controls. After a little research I realized what I got was just what I wanted, a hardly broken in late model (94) pre B. It has a really nice trigger because no fpb, newer hammer and trigger guard and it can use the newer magazines. The only problem was with the beavertail digging in after about 50 rounds, at this point I was not going to get rid of it so I found a local gunsmith and the rest is history.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Very nice.  I have read a lot of people having problems with the CZ beavertail.  I have never been bitten.  I must be holding it wrong. ;D
