My red aluminum grips arrived (and some new magazines)

They're sweet. Came with flat headed hex screws too.
I will post more pics when I get home.

I also got some new magazines. They seem better made than the old ones, the floor plate is no longer the suck from the looks of it.

With a few colors to choose from, I now see the ladies' point about a different shoe for every event......

I am looking for a similar set, but my only source, CZC, doesn't have these.
Excellent grips.

Excellent grips.

I ordered from shop-cz.com .

According to my scale the gun gained 31grams of weight, which seems impossible. That's about the weight  of two .45 bullets. Does not seem possible, maybe I'll doublecheck later.

The grip is now definitely thinner and the grooves are excellent, very good grip.

mags: left = new, right = old mec-gar. The screw through bottom plate is a necessary kludge to keep the plates from deattaching when dropped on concrete.

Those are awesome! Congrats!

The flash almost gives them a red-orange or red & yellow look...very nice.

Ditto on the smooth front! Very clean lines...reminds me of Art Deco styling. Did the hex screws come with washers? The ones that I have in a similar style from CZ-UB did not and had a tendency to loosen while shooting the first time. I wound up using #60 o-rings to keep them in place.

Just a heads up, the black aluminum grips are finally in stock and shipping out. Placed my order yesterday along with a few extra mags.  Will post photos once they arrive!

They were in the end. but Its  the shipping and export tax that really impacts the cost. I felt the grips were quite reasonable at $95 and the 2extra mags only came to $52. Shipping and taxes flushed out at approx $70.  (While certainly inflated..really not that big of a deal in the scheme of things)

The shipping/tax was a bit irritating but they were not available anywhere else. Even if CZ-US had them, they don't ship to Canada.

Not a big fan of the stock wood grips and I know I will love these on my blued 97.
