I only counted 8 splashes the first time and was going to give you some crap about missing, then looked closer and found all 10.  Nice shooting!

I know this may sound like a dumb question but you had to de-cock it every time to get it to fire in double action Right?

Hey, I just read the TTAG article on the P-09.  Is the SA trigger break really at ~3 lbs?

Did the same thing myself the other day with my P07. Used sheets of copy paper with a circle drawn in the middle. Started at 15yds. Went at 20, then 25. All double action. Don't know if I was concentrating more or what, but my groups were better that way than in single action. I have to work on that.

Just got my p09 Monday. WOW! It is smoother than my p07. That SA is so lite, I hope it sets off the primer. Taking the family out on Saturday to break her in. The kids love the 22s, but they also enjoy the bigger toys (including 12 and 16gauge). Looking forward to burning up some ammo.

I experienced something like that myself with the P-09.  Almost like I had more time to correct the sight picture after beginning to apply pressure to the trigger.  I was surprised I wasn't all over the target doing this.  I had to concentrate more on the SA pull to make sure I didn't pull the muzzle to the left to keep a good grouping.

Need more dry-fire practice...

Shot the p09 on Thursday. Very impressed. I do like this P series CZ line of pistols. I put the medium backstrap on, and added some glock grip tape to the smooth portions of the grip (thumb rest wrap around to trigger finger rest). I also put it on the backstrap and front portion of the grip, where the lower digits grip. It actually matches the side panels on the grip. I know that cz put those bumps on the front and rear, but I found them to not be enough for me. Especially on my lower palm. I've done the same with my p07. This gun is awesome. Still trying to find a preffered bullet, but for now, any ammo available, will do. Digests all ammo so far. I know that it was an expensive magazine full, but Doubletap 147gr hp performed very well.
