P09 stuck at ffl til Monday
« on: September 14, 2013, 08:53:20 PM »
Tracked my new P09 from Kentuckygunco. Thursday, Friday and Saturday until it arrived at my ffl today. Waited at ffl until closing (me and another poor shmuck) for 2 hrs because PA background check was unresponsive. AAARGH! Cant wait til Monday now. Even covered with grease she was beautiful. I have over 900 rounds thru my P07 without one glitch. Seems to prefer 124grain. I'll have to try 147grain next. Hope the P09 is as good as the P07.

AAARRRGGGHHH!! You mean you actually got to the dealer to pick it up, and then couldn't bring it home! That's got to hurt, and make it a long 2 days! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it when you get it. Pictures and a range report are mandatory, i think.

Actually held it and dryfired it quite a bit. Yeah. Kinda felt like a kid on Christmas eve. Will keep updated. That trigger felt actually smoother than my P07. I think CZ has another winner.

You will love it... I think the P09 shoots a little better than the P07

This shows us how much the gun laws vary by state.

In Idaho, once you have a concealed weapons license, you can skip the whole background checking process.  We still need a form, but that form doesn't leave the store unless the Federales come looking for them.

Anyway, sorry for your delay.  I imagine it is frustating.

I ordered a Chiappa Little Badger from KYGUNCO last Friday and it arrived to my FFL in a week. I went to pick it up after seeing it was delivered and KYGUNCO forgot to send their FFL info with the rifle. Luckily it was only 4:15 in the afternoon and I called them and they emailed the needed info so I could take my new rifle home.

How is that little Badger?  It's got me really intrigued - though I would probably pay double to get the Ruger 10/22 Breakdown if I really needed a wilderness small game rifle.
