The Wait is Over... Off to the Range...
« on: September 20, 2013, 01:47:38 AM »
Hi all,

I finally received my license and picked up my Duty 9mm. Ahhh.. what a showpiece   :D

I forgot how nice and snugg she sits in the palm of my hand... just the right size... ok, ok, before this goes south  ;D

Will be going to the Range tomorrow. I have some 115gr FMJ which i will be using just to get things going. Thereafter I loaded some 124gr FMJ's as my normal shooting ammo. After this i will be testing Winchester Ranger T +P 124gr Ammo as my SD and Carry Ammo.

I will let everyone know how things went, but I am sure we all know how my day will turn out  :D

Give us pictures! Lots of ris-que pictures!

I'm taking my new and first 1911 Remington R1 Enhanced to the range tmr! Lots of pictures will ensue.

Ahhh....

Just got back from the range... 300 rounds and she performed flawlessly!!! Not one FTF or FTE.

All three types of ammo used shot like a charm... Can't wait for the next outing!

O ja... Heres the pic :)

Big fan of the p07 myself, get some p09 mag for the range and I think you will be even happier. I practice with 16 rounds most of the time but to change the feel of it I use the 19 rounders. Congrats on your purchase.

I did cut off the lanyard loop. It was interfering with my reloads. Doesn't affect the p09 whatsoever.
