I have just received the new slide rod and bushings.  I installed them and took my 40P to the range, and wow!  What a difference!  Although the changes didn't change the trigger, but the accuracy has improved!  

The gun felt more study and easier on the recoil.  Maybe it's my imagination, but I do see closer grouping with the 50 rounds I put through.

i ordered the 40p package with the spring bushing and the guide rod on the 18 of december and yet to recieve it.Its a long wait but i heard its worth it.

Exactly how many coils do i have to cut off of the 18lb wolff spring for my 40p.

I would start with 3 coils, then reinstall it.  See if the slide will lock back.  The few that I have done took 3 coils.  Other have mentioned up to 5 coils being taken off.

i ordered 2 40p packages and it took about a month. i only recieved the bushings for one package. i have emailed jackash but no response. hopefully i will get them soon.
