My Little CZ Family
« on: October 19, 2013, 06:52:25 AM »

CZ 75B
CZ 75 SP01 Phantom
CZ 75 Compact
CZ 2075 RAMI
CZ 75D PCR

All have been customized with CGW parts.  All have an 85C trigger except the Phantom.
All have the SRT and the Compact also has the RRK.

The picture is crappy but the family is awesome!

I see 3 back ups and 2 full size-ers.

You are going to need one more big gun, Birds.

At least.

You should try a 97B.

Then you can arm 2 more people in addition to yourself.

I had one.  One of the most accurate guns I have ever owned.  With ammo prices the way they are I decided to concentrate on 9mm.  I may have to reconsider though.

P.S. You may consider the three smaller ones "backups".  The Compact is my EDC and it is the finest firearm I have ever owned.  The other two are fantastic as well.  The combination of CZ and CGW can't be beat.  Each one makes me a much better shooter than I really am and I feel very confident with any of them.  That's all that matters to me.

I think everyone needs at least one.

If you choose to carry a backup, that' good too.  That makes two for everybody.

Once you begin a collection, then the esthetics are in their variety and the care in which they are kept.

I have friends who have died though, and then their widow simply has to get rid of their collections.

These widows usually sell at fire sale prices, so the investment value is normally lost.

And by then you will be in heaven, and I never heard of an angel with a firearm yet -- swords maybe sure.

Like I said, you will soon be able to arm two other qualified shooters like yourself.

If they all shoot the same ammo then that's a good thing too.

When and if the balloon goes up, I am counting on someone to have an extra tactical rifle, which I will gladly trade them for a 44 REM MAG.  Not that a 44 is particularly valuable, but by then I won't need it, and if they have several rifles they won't all do them any good, so a trade for a 44 might please their esthetic appeal.

In the meantime I will stick with my 97B and my Mossberg.

Nice little group there Birds
But you know me, I'd swap the Uppers from the Nickel Compact and the PCR
Don't know why, but I do love them DuoTones
And the Nickel Lower with the PCR Upper would look SWEET
Enjoy B.... 8)
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

I love the Semi-Compact set-up   8)
But the Maxi-Comp concept is interesting....A Standard Upper on the Comp Lower
How about the CTS LS Upper on the Comp Lower ?   :o

So now I have to figure out which one to part with.  Might have to let a couple go.  This is very frustrating.  I just got the F/O front and target rear for the 75B and the Mepros for the PCR.  I am one sight set from having them all completed.  Well, you can't get through an Indiana winter without a furnace so, something has to give.  I have been working on completing these for what seems like forever.  Oh well, I guess I get to start over, again.

I've got ONE! Already looking for another one and I'm not done with this one.

Wife says, "how many CZ's does one man need" and I say ??? "At least one more..."   ::)

Well, turns out I might not have to sell any after all.  That's a relief.  I now have four guns complete.  Just need to test the 75B with the fiber optics and the PCR with the Meprolights.  I am one set of sights from having them all just how I want them.  Of coures, I still need to get a light for the Phantom and a holster or two.  But this is the closest I have come after seemingly a very long time.  Tomorrow is range day and I will be testing the new sights and also running some new "social" ammo through the carry and HD guns.  If everything turns out as expected I just need to order Mepros for the RAMI and Voila! complete.
