I think everyone needs at least one.
If you choose to carry a backup, that' good too. That makes two for everybody.
Once you begin a collection, then the esthetics are in their variety and the care in which they are kept.
I have friends who have died though, and then their widow simply has to get rid of their collections.
These widows usually sell at fire sale prices, so the investment value is normally lost.
And by then you will be in heaven, and I never heard of an angel with a firearm yet -- swords maybe sure.
Like I said, you will soon be able to arm two other qualified shooters like yourself.
If they all shoot the same ammo then that's a good thing too.
When and if the balloon goes up, I am counting on someone to have an extra tactical rifle, which I will gladly trade them for a 44 REM MAG. Not that a 44 is particularly valuable, but by then I won't need it, and if they have several rifles they won't all do them any good, so a trade for a 44 might please their esthetic appeal.
In the meantime I will stick with my 97B and my Mossberg.
