Can't get new front sight to start, what's next, take material off the bottom of F/S dovetail, like other front sites?

bomadera!   taper the leading edge very slightly that goes into the groove to help with it starting. once you have the sight so it enters the groove use a magic marker to cover the surfaces of the sight base sides and bottom . by fitting the sight in and out of the groove a little at a time  you will see where the marker gets rubbed off. that's where you have to gain some more clearance.  I did my p01 fiber optic sight that way and when fitting it the results was a snug fit but not so tight I ran the risk of damaging the sight during installation.

Thanks to all, I did as mkd suggested, and it worked fine.
I have the CZCustom Target Shadow with barrel bushing, the bushing is suppose to keep the front sight in, although the bushing does not touch the bottom of the front site, I do not see how the bushing retains the f/sight.

BTW, my Shadow with barrel bushing is scary accurate, I had a CZCustom Shadow without the barrel bushing, which was not near as accurate as this gun. Also the SRT is an amazing improvement, needless to say I recommend both options. Both are as advertised!

Yes, I do, and it is a 'keeper'. I use to have a 2011 9mm which was the most accurate 9mm I have ever shot, this Accu-Shadow rivals that 2011.
