Something in .45.   Either a Sig P220, 227 or Witness Elite Match.  Lean towards the Witness... today.

What, no love for the CZ97 ?    ???
Yeah, I like the Witness too
Wish CZ would break-down and offer the 97 in a Factory built 10mm
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !

Agreed!  The most commonly requested item CZ won't make.

Hard to find a 97 these days.  I've run across 1 (that was over-priced) at the last 3 shows.  First time I've seen a vendor have the Elite Match in 9mm, .40 and 10mm and no .45 today.  Sigs galore of course.

Have a new 2014 CZ P-07 on the way to join it's older 2013 Duty brother, and strongly considering pulling the trigger on a Grand Power P1 Mk7 (or new Mk12 variant).

Both GunsAmerica and GunBroker have a few listings for the 97

At the prices of the GPs right now is an awesome deal. Having owned the p07 1st gen, and recently the 07/extended barrel... For me I prefer the GP

My hope is to find a DW pointman nine and put it on layaway to get for my birthday in the fall.  My wife likes to have a reason.

Good plan.  Every man needs a helpmate to keep things in balance.  Now you get to enjoy the anticipation.

I went shooting with one of sons today. There is nothing better than shooting with one of your offspring. I just wish I could get my wife interested.
Anyway, I was shooting my P-07. I just can't believe how great it shoots for a compact polymer pistol.
It shoots better than some other manufacturers metal and alloy framed pistols. I might just have to get a P-09 and round out my stable of CZs. Then maybe a Shadow of some kind.
As of now I own a 75BD, PCR, P-01, RAMI BD, P-07 & a 452 Military Trainer in CZs.

Fireman jones,  consider the tactical sport.  I can't tell you how great it is.  The P07 was my favorite before, hands down, but believe me the TS is SWEEEEEET.  Very light trigger, very accurate...

Chumley, that is a mighty big gun. How is the grip compared to the 75s? It has my attention,I am doing some research on it.

I've only shot other shooters Tac Sport, but:
Note I have small hands
The grip is bigger but that SA trigger is right there for my short finger.  Shot great.

I am hoping to locate one in my travels to see if it fit my hand. What are you shooting instead of the TS?

I am shooting it on Sunday so I will write more after that.  My hand is 7 inches long and trigger finger is three. I don't know how that compares to you. Let me pull my 75 bd and the TS out of the safe and I will try to describe how they differ.

I already (verbally) landed a LC380

A guy had it listed locally. An LC380 with crimson trace laser (not the lasermax version). For 350.00
Since it is not on the California "approved handgun" roster anymore, the only way to buy one is through an in-state face to face transaction (between two commi-residents). In other words, the seller must be a California resident and be present at the LGS to complete the transaction with the buyer.

The seller says he purchased the gun this year. 50 rounds through the pipe. He wants an LC9. That's the reason he said he's sellin'.
I verbally approved we meet tomorrow.

Gun comes with 200 rounds ball ammo, 3 mags and that's it.

Your opinion of the LC380? Never had one.
Good deal? fair? not worth it?
