I personally am not impressed with the lc380 or lc9. I have owned an LCP and shot the lc380 and and lc9 and I could not get a good feel for any of them. Though the bigger lc380 was a bit bigger and nicer, I still think its make for a nice pocket pistol. it has some nice features and much better sights than the lcp but I still didn't like the trigger pull, or the general feel of the gun. to each his own though. as far as how its made, they have a nice fit and finish for the price. The crimson trace laser is nicer than the lasermax for sure and that seems like a really good price with all the extras.

I am hoping to locate one in my travels to see if it fit my hand. What are you shooting instead of the TS?

Gottmituns:   I like shooting 9mm better, .380 is very snappy. I have a PP and a PPK/S. It is almost like shooting .40, that is probably why the seller is going to the 9mm.

I loved my lc9 with crimson trace right up until I shot it the first time. It felt so awkward to me that I sold it to a friend after that first range trip.

I already (verbally) landed a LC380

A guy had it listed locally. An LC380 with crimson trace laser (not the lasermax version). For 350.00
Since it is not on the California "approved handgun" roster anymore, the only way to buy one is through an in-state face to face transaction (between two commi-residents). In other words, the seller must be a California resident and be present at the LGS to complete the transaction with the buyer.

The seller says he purchased the gun this year. 50 rounds through the pipe. He wants an LC9. That's the reason he said he's sellin'.
I verbally approved we meet tomorrow.

Gun comes with 200 rounds ball ammo, 3 mags and that's it.

Your opinion of the LC380? Never had one.
Good deal? fair? not worth it?

I think you got a good deal.  Let us know how it shoots.  The LC380 has the tilting barrel versus straight blowback.  You will find it sweet to shoot, I think.

Same thing with my Kahr CM9!  That thing had 60 rounds through it.  Maybe.  It was not a pleasure to shoot.  I really did like the trigger on it, but I think a RAMI BD is eventually going to replace it for summer CC.  I have been open carrying all year, so no need for a tiny gun.

I carried a PPS for a couple of years. It was a fine gun but too small and I never enjoyed shooting it. I sold it and replaced it with a RAMI.

What is it like to open carry?  What state are you in?  Does it cause any disturbance or reaction?  Just curious.

Chumley, that Tactical Sport you recommended is big and expensive. I do not shoot in competition. I don't know if I could justify that expense.  I am still thinking of the P-09, Cajunized of course, then maybe an 85 Combat or Shadow, but that is just a thought at this time. Right now I am enjoying my 75 BD that is fully Cajunized.

I live in North Carolina where open carry is firmly protected in out state constitution, and has been upheld by several state supreme court and federal court rulings.  Its awesome.

I was very hesitant at first, but no one bats an eye at it here.  The only reactions I have ever gotten are a thumbs up or a wink from other pro-2A types.  God Bless the South!

CC is another story entirely.  Some of the counties make it a pain in the but, and its not cheap.  I have a FL non-resident, mainly because I didn't have to take a course, just submit military marksmanship records.  That saved me close to $100.

But I prefer to open carry to combat the insanity in the media over responsible firearms ownership, and I would hope I have encouraged someone just by seeing me carry.  I especially make it a point to open carry when my kids are with me.

CZ75B compact 9mm...if only I could find one around here.

Just pretend this is witty.
Oops.  Just put a P-01 on layaway.  I lied.

Seems reasonable considering the price of a new Crimson Trace equipped LC380 and 4 boxes of .380.

You are correct on all counts, it is a little over a half pound heavier....longer overall length and barrel length, bigger mag as well.  Cost is more, but not terribly more after you do the modifications....consider what your total cost was on the 75BD after wood grips and CGW work was.  Probably close to $1000?  I don't shoot in competition, but maybe someday if I have the time, energy and confidence.  Don't think I will be any better than the worst, but I think it would be a good experience.  For now I just love shooting at the range.  If you ever do get a chance to try the TS, let me know what you think.

I would love to shoot one and a Shadow Custom that 1SOW has, but I do not know other CZ owners around here in Palm Beach County or surrounding areas.
Does anyone know how those two guns compare? Maybe I will save and purchase one of those instead of a P-09. We'll see.....
