Maybe God is saying it's not meant to be..... :(

Or maybe God is just encouraging you to be quicker about it!  Where there is a will, there's a way, or a beneficiary.  ;)

Quote
HE WHO HESITATES IS LOST - "Swift and resolute action leads to success; self-doubt is a prelude to disaster. The proverb goes back to 'Cato' (1713) by English essayist and poet Joseph Addison. First attested in the United States in 'The Autocrat of the Breakfast Table" (1858) by Oliver Wendell Holmes." From "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman (Random House, New York, 1996).
"Easy is the path to wisdom for those not blinded by ego." - Yoda

For all of those killed by a 9mm: "Get up! You are not dead! You were shot with a useless cartridge!"

I think I am getting the Sig 556xi in the next couple of days.(Sorry, not a handgun)
I already committed myself in getting it since I went in with two other guys at work to purchase 556 ammo. We will see how this works out.

I went to the gun show this morning and purchased a Colt LE 6940.
Let me tell you, the shows are not as crowded as they use to be the last few years. Well at least here.
I was talking to few vendors and one told me it was because there was a show every month for the last few years.
Prices are ridiculously cheap, hence I purchased the Colt.

I've just gotten into handguns in the last few months. So far the collection consists of 2 Browning's (a Buck mark and a .40 caliber Hi-Power), a S&W 586, a Grand Power K100 and a just purchased CZ75  Legend 75th Anniversary. I'm kind of torn as to what's next. I'd like a T series BHP but also another .22lr...maybe a revolver like a S&W 617. I'm in Canada so it's all target orientated and all with barrels more than 105mm (about 4.15 inches)

I'm having trouble deciding.
I'd like a CZ75 Tactical sport in .40 or a 1911 in 10 mm. But the Tactical Sport would probably win out this year.
I already have 5- 1911's, 3 -.45, 1- .22 and 1- 9mm.

I sold a sig 239 SAS mk 2 9mm and a RIA compact 9mm tactical and bought a Dan Wesson 9mm eco, great piece.  But I was missing the sig and today bought a pristine 239 .40 for $400!

How can I lose at that price?

What is a HQL?  Where do you live?

Maryland's new way to say registered gun. they have tossed in some moneymaking snafus for new gun owners...

the background check was already completed. yet it was cause for concern because i don't know how much detail they go into checking what shows up.

i have been accused and went to trial for some BS that i did not do and could not have done. btw this was known by Law enforcement before i was arrested. A book my evolve from this case if i get around to it.

so anyway federal guideline says i can own a gun. i have never been convicted of any crime felony or misdemeanor. i have nol pros's only and a PBJ for carrying a registered gun with no permit. the cop wanted to speak on my behalf when we went to court, how many times do you hear that lol.

OK, finally got my new SP-01 Tactical back from CGW :) This will primarily be my home defense/nightstand/bug out gun. I had David do the DCP work, crown the barrel, remove the lanyard loop and mill off the right side decocker. The grips were a birthday present from my daughter - they are VZ Diamondbacks. I thought they might be hand shredders but they feel good to me. Guess I like them rough LOL. The light is a Surefire X300 Ultra... I have a light-bearing holdser coming from Pitbull Tactical - should be here any day now. I'll add a pic when it arrives.

Beauty!  Love seeing those race hammers.  I would definitely add the 85 trigger, etc.
