Laugh if y'all must (I expect it actually lol), but my next pistol is going to be......a 9mm CZ 100. After I get it to the range to see just how horrible it is, most likely going to ship it to David and see if he can work any of that Cajun magic on it.

It turns out my next handgun is going to be a Russian Nagant M1895 revolver (7.62x38R). Don't know the year yet, but it should be from between 1930 to sometime in 1940's. I pre-ordered today thinking I'll hear back in a month or two. Turns out they'll arrive on Friday and will start shipping to buyers FFLs next week!

CZ P-09 FDE 9mm. Took a while to decide. No more thinking about it.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Have you asked David if he works on that model?

Yes, I have and he hasn't (yet), but.... after just handling it in the store I do believe that I'm gonna leave it just as it is. More on that in my separate thread

I think I have about 2 or 3 entries on this post alone. Don't think I have bought any of my supposed new guns yet. Last one was a used Sig 226. My Walther PPQ M2 will be here Friday.

I was just wondering if any of his parts are compatible.

Picked it up from FFL today. Beretta 92s ex Italian Police trade in.

The Beretta 92 still remains the best-looking semi-auto I've ever seen.

My "next gun" changes every week, but I think my current list is as follows:
1. Kahr CM9
2. Ruger GP-100
3. CZ-75B Brushed Stainless

Plus, if a CZ P-02 or a reasonably-priced Beretta 84 Nickel becomes available, I'm jumping all over it. I've lost several Gunbroker auctions for both.

This is my favorite all time looking gun:

The Beretta was copied from this fine pistol:

I also love Walther P-38's and have three of them.

WWII P38 and two Post War P38's

And yes, Beretta's design extraction from the P-38 was not lost on me, either, as I have often shot a Taurus PT92, which is the cousin of the Beretta 92.

Taurus PT92 w Pachmayr Grip and Ghost Ring Rear Sight

I would not mind picking up a Taurus PT917, which is a slightly shorter version of the PT92.

Blued version of the now discontinued Taurus PT917, which was a shortened version of the Taurus PT92.

That would be like the Beretta Centurion, same grip size but shorter in length.

Exactly!  I wish it had not been discontinued, but perhaps I can find one slightly used.
