Will be picking up another 9mm CZ 100 once finances are in order.

Actually thinking #2 to keep in my P.O.V. since my current one is presently EDC.

There was a semi-compact on GB.  I really hated to let it go but had no choice.

My CZ 100 has a lighter trigger pull and overall weight, not to mention feeling much smaller than the Cougar, which was a little bit smoother at trigger break and without the overtravel. The Cougar shot well but, was resold almost immediately.

That being said however, I will be picking up a 9mm PX4 Type D down the road! It's a shame that I am not a fan of the .40, because almost every Cabela's I pass out here on the road has a nice selection of used, police trade-in PX4 Type D's with night sights between $430-450.

I had a Cougar DA/SA and sold it to fund my CZ addiction. I never missed it. It was a great shooting gun, but never got use to the shape. Even though it had the rotating barrel, I liked the 92 series better.

FJ, holding a PX4 and a Cougar side by side feels like apples and oranges, or at least to me. The Storm IMO, has better natural POA and though only a few ounces lighter feels very, very different and in a positive way.

Not saying that it would replace any of my top 3 CZ's , I just want one! Yes, I am still attached to Beretta lol

I enjoy my 92 Compact and I think I will hold on to it.
The Px4 I sold because I didn't like the grip...small for my hands even with the large backstop.
I too still like Berettas very much that when they reintroduce the Centurion, I am getting one.

You mentioned grip size, that's another thing I prefer with the PX4 over the Cougar. The Cougar grip is entirely too big and fat for me, especially compared to my RAMI, which is honestly about the fattest grip I will tolerate on a double stack 9mm. Pics over in my collection thread.

Saw the picture, looks like the removable grips were pretty thick on the Cougar.
I don't think I have ever shot a double action only pistol, just a striker fired. I must try soon. That CZ 100 intrigues me.

Must remember the Cougar was originally designed from the get go for the .40, it was also chambered in 9mm, .45 ACP, and .357 Sig.
