Well I picked it up this afternoon, ran it home for a quick cleaning and hit the range. It was 20 degrees but I did get 100 rounds threw it, all good.

Cyanide, I don't think it needs any spring work. I did find out some people use the D spring from the 8000 Cougar, but I don't see why. It has a nice trigger, and the double action is pretty light as it comes from the factory.

I have to put in mine.   I have an SP-01 Shadow Custom 2014 due to get here in 5 weeks.  :)
Don't mistake my high post count for knowledge or wisdom.   I just like hearing myself type.

Can't wait for SHOT2015!  I have two Scorpion EVO3 S1's pre-ordered and I am going crazy waiting for CZ-USA to release them to the FFLs.

That should be fun to shoot. I'm waiting for a Ket-tec KSG - probably get it next week. I figured if I don't like it, it should be easy to sell since it's still somewhat hard to get at a decent price.

I don't usually get too excited about a gun, but then I saw THIS. Custom DW 1911 and built to spec at CZC. I can't afford it but I want it.

For sale is my 1911 from CZ Custom Shop chambered in .40 S&W built on a Dan Wesson slide and frame. It also comes with an interchangeable 10mm barrel. Everything was custom ordered and hand fit by gunsmith Eric Zinn and the CZ Custom Shop. I intended to use it to compete for single stack competition for Tuesday Night Steel, but things changed and I don't have time to compete or reload. It's in exceptional shape. It comes with three Cobramag 9-round magazines (interchangeable for both .40 and 10mm). I paid $3,306.93 for it (I can provide you with the original sales order). Here are the details of the build:
-AFTEC Extractor
-SVI Trigger
-SVI Trigger Base
-SVI Bobtail
-Wilson Combat Sear Spring
-Wilson Combat Ambi-Safety
-EGW Barrel Bushing
-Caspian Ejector
-Kart .40 Barrel
-Kart 10mm Barrel
-EGW Long Strut
-EGW OS Firing Pin Stop
-Ed Brown Rebuild Kit
-Ed Brown Extended Mag Catch
-Koenig Hammer
-MGW Sight Blank
-Wilson Combat Guide Rod
-Hiene Sights
-EGW Slide Stop
-S&A Mag Well
-EGW Firing Pin
-Wolff Recoil Spring
-Wilson Combat Plunger Tube
-30 LPI Front Strap Checkering
-45 Degree Cut Bottom of Slide
-Carry De-horn
-Hand-fit & Blended
-Ahrends Grips
-EZ Logo Engraved (For Eric Zinn)
Until recently, I had not shot it for well over a year. It's time to move it down the road. It is as tightly and smoothly fit as any Wilson Combat I have owned. I will part with it for $2000.00 cash. I may accept partial trades for other quality firearms, specifically: Sig 229, Browning Citori in 20ga, Winchester Model 70 (pre-64), or a Glock 23. I am also interested in .22 handguns with threaded barrels.

I guess this is my next handgun.  Picked it up yesterday.  Came with all the parts to Cajunize it.

Thanks, Mug.  I already have one fully tuned.  This will be #2.  #3 is already enroute.  I think I need an intervention.  ;D

I've been seriously eyeing a Sphinx SDP.  Now trying to decide between the Alpha and one of the aluminum grip models (sand / krypton).   Would have to order an aluminum grip model and pay a premium...  Not sure if it's worth it, weight is about the same.
