What's Your Next Handgun?
« Reply #735 on: March 11, 2015, 03:37:21 PM »
Ordered a SAR K2 45. Can't wait. Already got my 550b setup for 45 ACP in preparation. ;)

Somewhat off topic, but will keep it short. Went to a local sporting goods and they were selling .45acp WWB for almost 76cents per shot! :o Then I went to Walmart and WWB was still over 60 cents a shot! I'm sure glad I got into reloading, 45acp for 16 cents a shot sounds a lot nicer than 76.

I bought these about 2 weeks ago.  Don't EVER buy 3 guns at one time.  You just can't enjoy 3 at one time.
I like the RAMI BD more than I thought I would.
I really like the LEM trigger on the P30L
I kinda like the .32acp Guardian, but not in love with it.  I'd return it if i could get what I paid for it.

Either a P-64 or a RAMI.

Changes to:

Either a P-64 or a RAMI.

The P-64 ships on Monday and the shop was all out of RAMIs to buy

Just got my CZ 75B Omega yesterday and took it to the range just to get a feel for it, so that was my next handgun.

Of course, I didn't expect to have another one so soon, but a local guy was selling a used Glock26 for a good price and I couldn't pass it up.  Where I live is Glock country, yet I never bought one at the going prices.  So, in a couple of days, it'll be a used G26.

Funny you should ask.  Just today put money down on a CZ 75B SP-01 Tactical.  So excited.  Got a fantastic deal.  One I couldn't, nor shouldn't, walk away from.  Looking forward to taking it out soon.

I just bought a Steyr L9A1 from forum member CZinAL

Steyr L9A1 9mm Pistol

Looking forward to shooting it soon!  Should arrive here soon!

I have the M9-A1 and I bought my brother the L9-A1.
They are great shooters and the ergonomics are the best there is IMHO.
But ....and I say 'BUT' the guns fling spent brass back at our head(s). Not every shot but at least one out of every magazine or so. It is annoying to have a hot brass down my shirt, on my balding head, or stuck on my ear. I have changed out the extractor and the spring. I have mixed and matched the parts that the Steyr guys sent me (fast and free). But still, it happens.

But the good thing is the gun is just perfect otherwise. I really like the triangular sites and the ergonomics. It is just like pointing my finger.
And it breaks down in a flash for easy cleaning. I still carry it and when I want to show off at the range it is the only gun that is as accurate as my CZs.
Just a note: my police buddy has it in 40 cal and never has that issue with the brass at the head.
So, I always button my top shirt button and always wear glasses and a cap at the range anyway.
