Picked up my Sig P239 this afternoon, Nitron finish with fiber/night front and Siglite rear sights. Ran 75 rounds through it, 50 of Freedom Munitions 100gr ammo and 25 Hornady Critical Defense. No problems and remarkably accurate. I think it could replace my Ruger LCR as my small carry gun of choice. It's rather surprising how small and light this pistol is, weighs about the same as my LCR and as you can see in the photos, it's smaller. The extended magazine in the photo holds 7 rounds and the flush fit mag holds 6.

How do you like the LCR? I am about to pick one up in .22Lr. Just for a trail/snake gun.

I'm overall very happy with my LCR. Been my primary carry gun for over 2 years, according to my shooting log, I've run 1250 rounds through it so far without a single problem. The grip really soaks up recoil, I normally carry Buffalo Bore 158gr +P LSWCHP, 125gr +P JHP ammo or Federal 129gr +P Hydrashoks. They are very controllable in this gun, my S&W 442 is brutal to shoot using the same ammo. I practice with a 148gr HBWC over a mild charge of Bullseye, it's reasonably accurate and I can shoot 50 rounds without stressing my hands. Normal range session is 50 rounds of target ammo and 10 to 20 rounds of defense ammo.

I had a 642, so basically the 442 in a different finish.  The +P rounds out of that where quite brutal to shoot.

I am sure I will have no problem slinging .22 down range  :D

Got the P250 C "freed" from layaway a little while ago, so it will be waiting when I get home in a few weeks. Now to finish working on the balance for the extended barrel, night sight P-07 Duty!

I also picked up a LNIB Gen 4 G19 w/N.S. and, put a couple of FNH pistols on layaway; a NIB N.S.-equipped FNS-9 and then a used FNP-9 DAO. Pardon the vendor-supplied pictures lol, you guys know I will put up better ones after I take delivery of them...

Picking up a Ruger Match Champion GP100 Tuesday, trading off the P238 and adding some cash. It's sort of the big brother to my Wiley Clapp GP100

Picked this up in a trade this morning. I don't know much about these yet. It has 1/61 on the left side of the slide.

Today I went to a Gun Show in a neighboring suburb near Houston, (Pasadena, TX.).
I was looking for a CZ 75 D Compact, P-01, SP-01, or  something along those lines.
There were several to choose from and I decided on the CZ 75 P-01 Cal 9 Lugar NIB. In fact, the seal wasn't even broken on the case.
The P-01 makes #4 after the P-07, a CZ 75 B in Brushed Stainless, and a CZ 97 B.
I choose this to use as my primary concealed carry. I have been switching off too much lately between a few of my favorites.
There were several choices available but in the end I chose the P-01 with the rubber grips, the rail, and the alloy frame.

Not my photo but exactly the same.

Congrats!  You will be very happy with that P-01.  I own a few, and the one that I carry everyday has the thin checkered aluminum CZUB logo grips.  I love that gun!  Now to get one in OD green.

Picked this up in a trade this morning. I don't know much about these yet. It has 1/61 on the left side of the slide.

That appears to be a Post War pre-P1 Walther P38, of which I own two of.  Mine were German Police trade in Pistols.
Yours may be that also, or a Commercial P38.  Both German and French Police Trade in Pistols came into the USA about two decades ago.
Your Pistol is not a P1, as it lacks the frame re-enforcement bolt in the frame.

WWII P38 and 2 Post War P38's

Also note that mine have proven accurate and reliable, but I have found post War P38/P1 Magazines to vary considerably in quality.
Also inspect the twin Recoil Spring Guide Rods for wear.  As some were plastic, they can become very worn.
I replaced my plastic Recoil Spring Guide Rods with ones made of Steel.
