You don't see those 457's very often anymore. Nice pistol.

I had a nice 457 at one time.  I wouldn't mind picking up another one.

I'm working on picking up a nice old S&W 686-2 4" that the owner shot for qualifications and stored it even since the late 80's...that or the new Grand Power X-Calibur or a Ruger GP100 Match Champion.

Stopped in one of the local gun shops this afternoon. They had a CZ97 BD in the case, for the first time in several months. I tried to resist. I even left that store and drove to Cabela's. Next thing I know, my car drove me back to the other store (a mind of its own). So now I have a deposit on a CZ97. I have a few days before it finishes its sentence in DPRI gun-purgatory and I can go bring it home.

As long as it doesn't drive me to other places to go and spend too much money between now and when I can get the 97. My computer has been acting up the last two days, so I will probably need to replace it soon (goes into a screen saver nap that can only be interrupted with the power button).

After all of the talking, I finally bought a used CZ P-09 today. I would have never guessed that I would like a poly framed gun this much  ;D There is nothing that I don't about this gun, except maybe it's appetite for 9mm ammo. I've never went through a 100 rds that fast before ;)

Got a CZ 97B, CZ 75B in Brushed SS, P-07 Duty, and P-01.
Guess there is one of these at the next GS that is calling my name!

Taking the plunge in a few weeks and gonna get a Sphinx SDP Compact Alpha. Everytime I go home to my one LGS that has them, as well as when I can find one out on the road, I find myself handling them more and more to the point I have to get one so that I can actually shoot it. Did the same thing when I got my first attraction to the P-07 Duty a couple of years ago!

Thinking a P-09 is going to need to join the family as well to round things out. Can't have lil' brother 07 and the rich cousin Sphinx all by their lonesomes!

Well.......I wasn't sure what my next was going to be but I was fairly sure it was going to be a compact to go with my new SP01 Tact, so I stopped in at my LGS, they have quite the selection of CZ's in stock  8) almost to many. (the SP01 shadow target II was very distracting)
Anyway I'm there to look at compacts !!!  "Stay focused"

So the salesman lays them all out for me
Ramy
75 compact
Pcr
P01
Even a stingray c for comparison

Ramy - to small for me
75 compact - a little on the heavy side
Pcr - perfect
P01 - perfect

I really would be happy with any of the 4 but I like the tactical rail and the de cocker, so P01 it is. I planned on going back tomorrow with cash and buy it, but on my way home I decided to stop by this pawn shop I'd heard so much about and all I can say is holy crap, (gun heaven) they had 10 times the guns of any shop I'd been in and apparently twice as many in the back room, at this point I'm on overload and ready to go home when I spot a gently used P01 with 2 mags and the factory case for $80 less than my LGS, so I pulled the $100 I had in my wallet to put it on a 90 day hold, now the only decision is buy it tomorrow or continue to shop for a better deal.

I could not stop at one ,I bought a Beretta 84 B used needs some tlc, I am leaving in a couple minutes to shhot it, then I will tear it down and correct the finish issue when I get back to the shop. Second I have a Grand Power P1 Ultra coming from Buds Gunshop .com along with two extra mags -found those at J&G's,can't wait to shoot that one . I was having control self control issues this past week so what did I stumble into ,a CZ 40B with two mags. I could not resist it ,worked out a final price with them yesterday ,told them I had to think about it ,well I have have it so I will call them back when they open today and get that. I have one other one on my radar the Canik TP9V2,since I already have the TP9sa with 5 mags that one is a no brainer at $329.00 and uses the same mags.I will need to take a break for a while from pistol buying. Off to the range now.

I currently have 3 CZ's, P-07, 75b and SP-01 Tact all 9 mm, and all have some CGW upgrades. The P-07 has the entire works from CGW. My go to is SP-01 Tact, and what a awesome weapon. Would like to add a fourth, but they do not make it...yet. I would like to purchase a CZ 97b with ambi-decocker. Being a left-handed shooter, an ambi-decocker is a must. At this point, the closest I can get is a 97bd. I emailed David at CGW several days ago to see if this model could be modified to accept an ambi-decocker and he said no. I guess I will have to wait until they bring this model out, if ever. That's ok. I will just continue to play with the CZ's I already have along with their cousins.

As a reformed 1911 shooter, I have been bitten by the CZ bug and all is well now in 9mm. I may still splash out for an SP-01 Shadow, possibly a Rami, but there are other good guns out there that many rave about.

Not into Glocks, but? Yet many seem to like the Sig 226,, the Walther PPQ, the HK VP-9.

Does anyone rate these on the bucketlist? I am liking the ambi features of the HK!

Never thought I would like plastic guns either, till the p09 and 7.
