Also for some ridiculous reason I feel like I want/need a Judge Poly SS....I know its kind of a gimick gun but it still seems kinda fun / interesting. Ive seen them come down to 329 and waiting for them to go on sale around that price again.

No, you've got it good.

If you had it bad, you'd buying glocks and hi-points

So many pages here!  Have I already said how much I've been jonesing for an all steel compact?  Keep it stock except for occasionally swapping out the frame from my Matte Stainless!  If the compact slide works reliably with the SS frame, I may replace the sights on the Matte to include a FO front.  Just need to take care of bills, and be able to pay myself (relatively new company) first!

Ordered a Sphinx SDP Compact with an aluminum frame and a full-size grip. This is a special limited run gun to have a full-size grip that holds the 17-round magazine flush fit.  Hoping it will arrive at the FFL by the end of the week.

Since I got my wife that 75 Compact 9MM, I'm now carrying a gun that uses different magazines (P07 .40 S&W).

So, I've been thinking about a nice 75B in stainless steel.

Or, does the 85 use the same magazines as the 75?  If so, I might look for one of those.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I believe all of the full size guns except the TS can use standard CZ 75 mags. I know the mags are interchangeable between the 75 and the SP-01... And as I understand it, the 85 is essentially just an ambi 75 with a few internal tweaks.

Full size 85 and full size 75 use the same mags.  Compact 75 and full size 85 will use different mags.   HOWEVER full size mags will work in the compact, although hang out the bottom slightly more.

Since cz has been slightly discourteous to my wants i am givin serious thought to a po1 sdp from czc...been looking for a seecamp mouse gun too...seems czc is hard to come by used for some reason..cant be stellar reputation could it?????..youd think they would be stacked deeper than lorcins's at the pawn shop..in all seriousness those 2 are on my radar before iman zero eo's ..depending on the iman eo's i may opt for a ammo and mag run...but i really like that sdp and well seecamp is what you know them to be

Looking at a sub-compact cc pistol. My initial list in order of preference:

Kimber Solo
Walther PPS
Springfield XDS
S&W Shield
Kahr PM9/CM9

Being a lefty, the Kahr and Shield are lower because of the mag release not reversible.

Walther PPS cause you are Lefty
But my order would almost be reverse
Shield
Kahr
PPS
SOLO (looked into one but hardly found anything good as far as reliability)
XDs ( HAD a 45 & hated it with a Passion. Mine was very unreliable & inaccurate. after sending back on recall, the trigger Sucked. Traded it for a Sig Ultra 3in 1911 another story BUT I do still have it & will keep)
Sorry, had to remove the list of firearms due to server overload. I hope you now have a more pleasant experience on this forum.

"Hey, do you want to try my Glock?"
No thank you. Want to try my CZ P-01?
