Witness 10mm Full size steel... if WA will ever send me my CPL...

Where you are in Washington? because DJ's sport and loan (Bothell)has a nice used 10mm witness and if I recall its right at $500.

I'm down in Sammamish/Issaquah, I have a private seller that is waiting patiently for me :-)
I'll try and head up there sometime, I like to keep track of places that have CZs/Clones.

If you've never been in DJ's, you really need too  8), 10-12 display cases packed full and probably twice as many in the back room.
Also Precice Shooter in Seattle has a nice selection of CZ's and Canik's http://preciseshooter.com/

Either a S&W 686 with a 6" Barrel, another Glock (Thinking about getting a 42 or a 43), or a Walther PPK variant (Gonna do some more research on those though.).
I am long winded. Ask me what my favorite gun is, I'll write you a novel. Hell, I have trouble deciding what gun to grab for when the dogs bark at night :o.

Just got a Bersa Thunder 380 Plus.  Been looking for one for awhile now, and got an email alert yesterday that one was available at a good price.  Still looking for that .40 cal Rami deal...

I have my carry choices now: CZ P-07 9mm and Walther PPS 9mm. So, I'm not sure what is really needed. A S&W Shield is nice, I have fired two different Shields and both were impressive. I'm not interested in a $650+ pistol, money is tight for a while. There is a used RAMI 9mm at the local range though... Something I lack is a longarm, maybe an AR or AK variant is in order?

You'll love the 686.  I have a 4" model that I don't plan on letting go.

Oh believe me, I know what you mean. My dad owns a 686 8", and I felt rather ill giving it back to him.

As others have said, the gun budget is a bit tight right now especially after Christmas.

With that said, it will take awhile but I'm really liking Wilson Combat's new Beretta 92 collaboration

I just bought my first CZ an 85 Combat. I'll probably buy a 75Omega Convertible when they come out and even though it cost more than most 22 pistols, I'll probably get a Kadet Conversion.

Well I have "permission" to get a new 1911, and am looking at getting a Dan Wesson Specialist, though feel tempted by a SIG ( much less expensive)

The Sig 1911 is the best on the market IMO, if I were to buy one that would be it. I'm sure it will perform as good or better than the DW.
