I was thinking more along the lines of a small poly, but if I were to go to a small metal handgun, I'd go with a 2075 Rami.  Thanks anyway.
My bad
You stated you were looking for a thin 9mm
Since I am not into Poly Gun, I don't think along those lines
Also, the 2075, it isn't thin, it's a Double Stacker, 1.3" wide
Where the Firestar is a Single Stack at 1.1", almost a 1/4 thinner

True, the 2075 is 1/5" thicker, but hey, it's a CZ.  FTR, I'm not a poly guy either, but I think if I'm going to carry I'd be better off with a small, thin, light 9mm, which led me to the Nano.   There are a lot of poly handguns that fit what I think I need - I just need to make it down to my LGS and check each out.  Thanks anyway DenStinett.

If you are looking for a thinner 9mm. Consider checking out Sigs re-release of the 225-A1

If you want something even smaller I had a 938 and really enjoyed it, just wanted more capacity.  It was a 7+1

I believe the 225 is a 8+1.

I'll check that Sig out.  Thanks 357MAGNOLE!

Look at the original Walther PPS, slim, poly, reliable and the price has come down since they came out with version 2!!

The PPS looks like a good option.  Thanks for the info regarding a price drop Makaroviii.

I picked up the old model Walther PPS for $359 New Years Eve. It came with 7 & 8 round mags and I picked up a 6 rounder for it. With the larger back strap it fits my hand just right. I'm even liking the mag release, very easy to use with my trigger finger. I've only had it out once so far because of the weather, but so far I like it.

I have one, it's a great carry pistol and with typical Sig Accuracy. Mine seems to do best with 124gr ammo. Carry ammo is Speer LE 124gr +P Gold Dots.

It balances better than my old style P225 and conceals better too. The grip is much friendlier to anyone with large hands, you don't end up with your little finger crushed on the magazine.

Next will probably be much later in the year, but I need to replace a P225 (old style) that i sold several years ago, and replace a (French made, German) Walther PPK that I sold too. Could be an expensive year.

I just saw the 2016 CZ catalog on the CZ USA web site.  I've got a new gun to start saving for.  A CZ 75 with ambidextrous safeties or decockers, like the P07/P09, with threaded barrel and suppressor sights.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

That looks like a real winner. I bet they'll have a hard time keeping up with the demand :)

I really am interested in the CZ Tactical Sport or the orange model if it goes public here.

Remington  Rand 1911 on a aftermarket frame.
It's 73 years old, rattles like a box of bolts and kicks like a mule, but still works like a champ.
I'd like to see a Glock do that at 73.
