Congrats on the win on that 3913! Saw that also. Am thinking of the DAO version for the future.

Nice BirdsAway,  Didn't you have a P-64 in the past?

Psyop96, I bid on a 3953, but it got away from me!  Decided to go DA/SA instead.  If I had won the 3953, I might have sold my CZs and kept my HK LEMs.  I'm glad I'm keeping the CZs and will continue to go DA/SA.

Yes, I have had a few over the years.  They keep getting away from me.

Selling my 2 HK's has provided some good funds!!  I'll say this about HK - they have good resale value.

Here is my second S&W 3rd Gen purchase.  Check out the old school adjustable sights.  Ugly but really retro cool at the same time.  This one's a 5904.

After the very good results with my Range Officer Champion, I decided to go for another Springfield. Picked up a new Springfield Armory Range Officer Operator 9mm. US built pistol with 2 dot rear sight and fiber optic front sight. Polished the trigger, tweaked the sear spring, and replaced the main spring, now has a nice clean 3.6 pound break. Ran 50 rounds of my hand loaded 124gr ammo, 50 rounds of Winchester 115gr white box, 50 rounds of Aguila 124gr and 50 rounds of Blazer Brass 115gr. Reasonably accurate with the Blazer ammo and the Winchester, very good with my hand loads, and excellent with the Aguila stuff. Being an all steel pistol with a heavy 9mm barrel makes this a very soft shooting handgun. I need to try some 147gr ammo and some Freedom Munitions ammo I have in my stash. I'll likely replace the grips with a Raasco or Altamont set at some point.

I'm considering fitting a 38 Super barrel to this pistol to pair it with my Dan Wesson Guardian 38 Super.

Congrats, that is a beautiful pistol! I really really like that color, nickel? I was on the brink of buying a Spingfield Range Officer, and as I kept researching I stumbled across CZ's. The rest is history. I'm pretty sure that a Springfield 1911 will be in my future one day, I keep reading great things about their quality to price range.

Standard parkerized finish, the frame is lighter in color than the slide. Stainless barrel and bushing.

I'm picking up a P09 in .40 this week.  I already have the 9mm.  Both of these are fully Cajunized.  Both will primarily be doing HD duty.

I had one of those and a PM9.  Neat little gun.  I sold it to a friend and kept a PM-40 for carry.  Only 40 I have, and it is a handfull.  The 9 is better, LOL, but I don't shoot the 40 often, so it is OK.  CM-9 is great value, good gun.  Just give it a few rounds to loosen up some as it will be tight when you first shoot it. Any initial difficulties will clear up after a 100 rounds or so, I'm pretty sure.  At least that was my experience with three Kahrs.

Haven't had the chance to take it to the range yet. Actually haven't had time to take my Christmas present(DD ar) to the range yet either. Going to have to pack a lunch and shoot till my arm falls off!
