Good things happen to those who wait. I won the bid on a brand new 2016 CZ P-07 for $410 + $15 shipping on Gunbroker last Friday.(light not included) I'll be looking forward to taking it to the range this weekend!

That's a beauty, sir.  Congrats on the great score.

I won the bid on a new S&W Shield on Gunbroker this week. I took it out and put 50 rounds through it this afternoon. I was very impressed by how accurate it is. I had a S&W SD9VE several years ago. I was lucky to hit the target with my SD9VE, let alone the bulls eye ::) I had to let that S&W go. I believe this Shield is a keeper :)

Right now planning on a new SP01 shadow to become my match gun and relegate my current shadow to "practice gun" status

I have 9mm shield on order right.  Plan for it to be the new iwb edc.  After a couple rounds though it of course.

I found that the springs in the magazines for my Shield are pretty stiff. It's pretty hard to get the last round in the magazines. I plan on loading both magazines to full capacity and letting the sit in the gun safe for awhile. I'm sure they will loosen up.

I'm still in the 90's with S&W. Lots of 6904s are hitting the market along with a few other 3rd Gen types. Initial test drive....

Just gotta follow the experts [emoji1] Have since swapped out the main spring for a lighter #17 from Wolff. DA is nice and light now. The sights shoot a tad low for me. Only real negative is the mag disconnect and still not a fan of slide mounted safety. Might have to continue along the experts' route to a DAO 6946 someday [emoji1]

Smartazz!!! I wonder if I can do that 17# Wolff mainspring on my 6946 and/or 5943 SSV? I honestly have no idea what the stock spring weight is, though the trigger pulls on them don't seem to be all that heavy.

The Wolff website indicates that some DAO models (short grip) may already have a #17 factory hammer spring. They show factory standard on the DA/SA as 20 lbs.

I have a hankerin' for another 38 Super 1911. Think I'm going to order a Colt Government size 1991 and start modifying as the spirit moves me.
