What's Your Next Handgun?

Im not sure what my NEXT pistol will be, other than the brand.  CZ.   
  I very much want a CZ75 Shadow.  97B, TS and I would love to find a PreB for the collection. I am seriously looking into the RAMI and compacts.. although, I sort of mitigate my CZ's to fun shooting right now, with only full size pistols in the collection for now.

With my birthday coming up soon, I'm seriously considering a Dan Wesson 1911 Bruin Bronze in 10 mm.

My next gun will be a S&W model 640 5 shot .357 magnum J frame used, pre-lock, hammerless. I'm a sucker for S&W's.

Picked up my new Colt 1911 Government in 38 Super last night. Did a basic trigger/action job and installed my preferred arched main spring housing with an Ed Brown Competition mainspring this morning. Test fired with a box box of PPU 130gr round nose ammo. 100% function and acceptable accuracy with what I'd call adequate at most ammo. I plan to run a few boxes of my reloads and some Fiocchi factory stuff through the pistol next. I'll run some CorBon and Buffalo Bore 124gr defense ammo after I shoot at least 200 round nose loads.

I haven't decided what other, if any, mods I'll do, other than a different set of grips.

Being in California, there's not much I really want that I can get.
Once i get my federal license for my EMT, I will most likely get a Glock 17. $398 + 3 mags is a steal.
I find it funny how being a "first responder/EMT" I get discounts on everything law-enforcement related, even guns 

I told my friend in Nevada to either get a HK P30L, or a VP9 / VP40, and when he moves back here to Cali, he'd sell me his.

I recently spent a year shooting a VP9 exclusively. Overall it was a great experience. The gun was good to go out of the box, although I did put Trijicon HDs on mine.

I switched back to CZ after the year - I just prefer a TDA gun, especially for appendix carry.


ETA: just my thoughts but I would say the P30 needs trigger work out of the box to be satisfactory. That may be my CZs talking though LOL

Ok may sound kinda crazy, but I'm looking at getting a CVA Scout single shot pistol, stainless, in 357 mag. This would be a "handgun hunting" experiment for deer and hogs. Only issue I have is there's not much reviews out there so if any has some experience with these please chime in. Kinda on the fence so to speak.

Right there with you.......add a PCR and I have the same grouping, all with CGW Pro-Pkg setups.....took the very competent stock guns and turned them into exceptional firearms!

Yeah I missed/overlooked you had a PCR already........look at the Pro-Pkg if you haven't already

I WANT to say my next one is a Beretta 92G Elite II, only because I've wanted one for YEARS. Realistically though, it'll be a Glock 43, as my 19 is a little large to lug around sometimes. Then an SP-01 Tactical.

I am very happy with my P-07s but I've been thinking about what I might like to add at some point. I was initially thinking a P-09 or maybe an SP-01... then I saw the Shadow 2.

Yep, that's it: Shadow 2.

The best part is I'll have time to save for it... LOL
