- Finally after trying out some IDPA with my modded Sig Sauer P226, probably look to add a CZ Czechmate to try out Limited and Open IPSC

Should make for a nice 2017.

I tried out an FNX45, there is a lot to be said that is positive about that weapon.  The fact that on the T it comes with a threaded barrel and the slide is cut and threaded for optional electronic red-dot sight (and comes with two plates) and it comes with raised night sights for suppressor use is definitely a real plus.  It handles well, operation was smooth.  Nice pistol.

I've owned both the HK45ct and USP45ct in the past before I went all 9mm.  I miss 45ACP and for my one firearm, I think the FNX45T is the right choice for the all the same reasons.

Picked up my Ruger GP100 44 Special and Beretta M9A3 last night. Finished the work I wanted to do and now off to the range.

GP100 after installing 10 pound hammer spring, 8 pound trigger spring, and Ruger "Lett style" compact grips:

M9A3 after installing Wilson Combat 14 pound hammer spring, Wilson Combat 14 pound recoil spring and steel guide rod, Beretta Elite II hammer, and Beretta conversion grips:



I may go back to the Ver-Tec grips on the Beretta, I plan to shoot 100 rounds with each grip and see how they work out.

I only ask because my LGS has the 40 for $379 on GB. I believe they have 4 left, but a great group of guys.

I don't have the 9mm version but I just ordered it from Grabagun so it should be here next week. After sights, trigger and a little grip work I should be done. $379.00 is a great price for the .40 which seems to be going away rather quickly. I noticed that Lone Wolf and a few others are no longer making the long slides in .40 for the Glocks, if anyone wants something in .40 this would be the time to get it.

I think it's time for another striker fire (I don't have one).  I'm waiting for the CZ P10c...  It'll be my only gun this year.
