I'm lusting for a 627 performance center stubby. Once I get that it will be time for another 1911.

I have been interested in the P10c since it has been announced, will pick one up as soon as I hear positive feed back from this group.

After my two CZ purchases (PCR and P01 both with Pro Kits) I purchased a Beretta Compact (MADE IN ITALY). Then the VOODOO started. My long time go to FFL shop owner DIED the night before my purchase! I then went to my secondary FFL dealer and his mother DIED the night before I was to pick it up! With all this happening the CZ world is yelling at me to stop buying non CZ firearms! But, I have yet to see the Beretta and I will give it an inspection just like the CG Inspections my fellow Navy Corpsman and I received from the Marine inspectors while stationed at Camp Pendleton during the late 1960s. I just wonder if it"s going to be a Ferrari (I wanted a Corvette) or a FIAT (which stands for FIX IT AGAIN TONY) Boy, the all steel CZ compact looks good to me now.....

I posted in the C&R thread about a CZ 27 I found in my LGS while picking up another pistol.

The other pistol... I own a CZ 75 and a Beretta 92FS, both from the early 90's. I own other pistols too, but the set wouldn't be complete without a Sig P226 from the same era. The problem is, I have a self-imposed budget; this keeps my purchases at a reasonable price and keeps my bank account happy.

I hadn't been able to land the Sig at the price I set... until now. All serials match (frame, barrel and slide), it functions and shoots great, and the appearance was ok... JUST BARELY... for the price. And yes, I own a lot of other guns that look better, at that price... but none were Sigs.

I've posted in a couple other forums, but I can't help it ;D, I like to share!

Unintended new-to-me purchase...
Had a HK45C, but sold it a few years ago. One of those that I regret selling.
Found one in excellent condition on Armslist...couldn't pass it up!

Yeah, I'd have preferred it to not have the rust stains on the serrations, and the ding on the trigger guard (that's a big gouge). But outside of that, I'm okay with it... the etching and pitting give it a ton of honest character, and don't effect the functional aspect at all. Just a lot of external wear. It's going to stay oiled up and preserved from here on out.

I don't like the fake "distressed" look some people make, but I'm not averse to honest wear at all, especially if the price is right!

Ha! I just ordered one along with a Kabar bottle opener and a Kabar windshield ice scraper. Thanks for posting - I never knew Kabar made such cool little knick-knacks.
