Just bought the FN 509. Very nice striker fired pistol. Bought my CZ 75 matte stainless on the same day. Dealer gave me the 509 for $509 dollars. Couldn't pass it up.

Very nice Brigadier. Still cant find a P10, so picked up a used Steyr M9 made in 04. Close to 0 aftermarket, and as far as I can tell, Steyr itself has nothing on their site as far as spare parts. I love this gun though.

There's a CZ P-10 C  sitting in a case up the road from me for $480.00 + tax. My problem is I'm really wanting a Blued 10mm 6" 1911 type gun (was wanting a Delta Elite) but they are twice as much as the normal price I pay for pistols.


Maybe later today I'll run up there and see if it's still there?!?

My nexts proved to be a CZ P-10C and a Vickers Glock 17.

The P-10C shoots surprisingly soft and I think it ticks all the boxes for a great out of the box gun, aside from the sights. Those are functional and might be fine for others but they just don't work so well for me. I'll be throwing an HTAC rear and green fiber front on there soon.

The G17 was a real surprise, shooting better for me than any Glock I've had my hands on to date. This was the first I've had with the RTF2 grip texture and it is awesome. I got it just a to have a Glock and to use in stock form in the occasional GSSF match. Much happier with it than I expected to be

These two will be it for me and striker-fired guns. Now back to hammer-fired goodness with a couple more CZ P-07s ;-)

I was super impressed... any other Glocks I get (if that day ever arrives) will definitely be RTF2.

The Wilson Combat sights on the Vickers are good too and I had to install the extended mag release and the extended slide release to have something functional lol

I was less enthused by the mag plates and the plug/tool thingie.

All in all a happy purchase. I'll have to keep an eye on the ejection and such to see if any other aftermarket stuff will be needed (HRED, etc) but the trigger will stay stock for now and hopefully I can just call it good
