To the OP, if you've only shot 50 rounds, IMHO you've only just begun. I had a similar issue with a new gun in reverse of your experience. I bought an M&P Shield last year after having extensively shot DA/SA hammer guns like the CZ 75B & Ruger P94, SA guns like the 1911, and a S&W 586 revolver. Transitioning to a striker action like the Shield forced me to analyze my technique and trigger pull to make corrections. What I started to do was to go to the range with one gun, the Shield, for several sessions and work on trigger pull, stance, hold, and target acquisition. Improvement came gradually at first, and once I got used to the gun, I can now shoot consistently tight groups at 25 yards.
You're moving from a striker fired Glock to the DA/SA external hammer on the P-09, and I suggest you just need to focus on getting familiar with that gun. You'll be surprised how fast it will all come together once you build up a comfort level with the P-09.
Edited to add: If you want to save ammo, try the same exercises with trigger pull, stance, hold, and target acquisition in dry firing exercises. Place a coin on the end of the barrel and learn to dry fire in DA without disturbing it. If you can do that using a DA pull, the SA pull will be very easy. Getting used to a specific gun's pull and action makes a huge difference, and you can do that without burning ammo.
