I took my brand new 97 out to shoot and in the 200 rounds that I shot, I had 3 jams. I've had 3 point jams on my 1911, SP-01 (literally 1 jam ever in the 1200 rounds I've shot), and my Glock. However, with the 97, I had jams which I've never seen before. The bullet was almost vertical and blocking the ejection port. It's as if the nose of the bullet hit something and flew upwards when cycling.
I did a search and noticed that schmeky ran into this issue when his magazine springs were worn, however my mags are new. I did modify my 97 to SAO with CGW parts (trigger, hammer, sear, springs, etc), but left the OEM recoil spring in there. I don't see how anything I modified can be causing this. Any insight is very welcome.
