M12 Holster for SAR K2 45?

Stepping away (a bit) from 1911s and have a SAR K2 on order from Bud's. Make an offer, they'll likely take it - (should have gone lower!)

Reading many comparisons -size wise - the the Army's Beretta M9.

Wanting a field holster, I'm thinking that the M12, designed for the Beretta might actually fit.

So, is anyone out there using this holster with their K2, or should I be the first to try it?

Doesn't fit.
The large K2 trigger guard prevents the gun from fully seating into the holster.
Can't close the flap.
