Lost my entire collection in a tragic boating accident.

Sorry to hear, but.... I need to hear all the deets. What happened? What did you loose? Not worth a salvage diver recovering or what?

All at the bottom of Lake Michigan - horrible accident

someone needs to start a business selling flotation life preservers for firearms
I don't look like my avatar!

Here is my current CZ family (two picture at the bottom show the changes made to the TS). I have a P-01 which is almost ready to be broken out of the CA 10 day jail. Looking at a 75b next.

Only 3 CZ's and 2 clones.  The rest is just kind of a hodge-podge of stuff I liked or got a good deal on.

SP-01 Shadow
P-01 + 40B slide = 40P
Kadet
CZ 83
vz2008
SAR K2 45 X2
and some other "stuff"

bugboy -- I like the basic looks of the "hodgepodge" 1911 hanging out with its prot?g?s'!  How does it shoot, and what is it?

2 1911's

Top left is a Citadel 1911-A1 FS

Lower center is an iAi/AMT Javelina 10mm (7" longslide).  Haven't really got a chance to run it through it's paces yet for accuracy.  I made some handloads that are .1 gr under max according to Hodgdon and they seemed really mild. Quite a bit "smoother" feeling that my brother's Witness Hunter.

Guess which one caught my interest?!

Sorry, I forget to include "long slide" (or super-duper long slide) in my description of the 1911.  10mm?  Yowsa! What an (even more) interesting twist!

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear it was an AMT Hardballer .45 ACP?  If so, that is way-cool to have in your collection!  It had it's moment in the sun in 'The Terminator' during the scene where Arnold walks in the gun store and asks for a, "45 long-slide wit layza sighting..." ;-)
