PCR...improved with 14

Just recieved my OEM 14 round High Capacity mags...

I really like the way they fit/feel/look/hold 14!
It seems to have made my PCR even better.
(still no holster, I'm too far from a major shop)

Any comments on carrying only, say, 12-13 instead of maxing out the spring with a full 14....any thoughts? In my basic class, he recommended leaving a couple cartridges out...but I don't carry everyday, like he does...I suppose at the range it's O.K. to fill 'er up? Right?

Wheels...try a Wolff +10% mag spring in it someday..my old Compact mags held 15 set up this way....good stuff :D
The ONLY thing that will wear out mag springs are OVER compression and normal use.  It you can put 14 rnds in it, push down on the top round and it still has spring play in it..its fine.  If its "drum tight" ..loose one round.
Killer deal on the Improved/hybrid with the Hi Cap....
Let us know how it choots....Shoot well

Where did you get the hi-cap's for the PCR???  Do they extend past the bottom of the grip?

PCR Hi Caps are the same as Compact Hi Caps...available once in a while...usually around 65$ or more.  They dont extent past the grip..the pic above is my PCR with 2 Hi Caps.

Actually, there are two versions of flush-fit hi-cap mags for the CZ75 Compact and PCR.  One is designed to hold 13 rounds and the other is designed to hold 14 rounds.  The 14rd versions have an extra witness hole on the side of the mag and there is the number "14" beside that extra hole.  I was fortunate enough to pick up a a couple at $45 per mag recently when Robert Johnson was selling them.  They wrok great.

Also, the fullsize 75B hi-cap mags function perfectly in the compact pistols, but the mags to protrude a bit.

Take care.  Marko

The difference has to be the follower...the tubes cant vary that much in length..as they all fit flush.  With the "legs in the corners" follower, the capacity is 14rnds in mine also. And they are the 13 rnd mags.....My old mags with the "good" followers and Wolff springs..held and fed 15 rnds...very nice.

I just got 2 of Robert's 14 rounders for my PCR.  Fit and function is great, however the extended metal shelf on the front of the floorplate bites into my little finger.  The rounded plastic floorplate on the 10 rounder that matches the curve of the frontstrap is much more comfortable.  Does anyone know of any replace floorplate with a less aggressive shelf which would fit these 14 round magazines?  Thanks.

Just about any Double Stack 9mm Floor plates are compatible with the CZ mags...just a tip.  Look around and you may find something that works..I got some of Hakans Turkish PD Base pads....check out the pic above...they are on my Hi Caps...
