Thanks Pilot. Mom and baby are doing great.
As for the RK-59, it was a 9x18M chambered Hungarian military issued sidearm, closely patterned after the Walther PPK (looks like a baby PA-63, but better quality). It's the smallest pistol imported since the Gun Control Act of 1968. Century imports brought in about 3,000 of them. Of all the ones I've seen, only three are unissued and not import stamped. Interestingly, in comparing notes with the Mak board member who just bought the other one that I mentioned above (and who has owned the third non-import stamped one for some time now), the serial numbers of all three of these RK-59s fall within a sixty digit range of each other. And not only that, their four-digit serial numbers all have the same first number and same last number. Only the middle two numbers differ. Kind of wierd, eh?
As for the Vanad, he bought it at the September Pittsburgh Show that I was unable to attend. Definitely a rare find at a great price.
Take care bud. Marko
