pcr hybrid works fine

Sirs:
I posted in reviews my first impressions shooting my new pcr/hybrid last night. It's a great little gun, I'm very happy with it.
If they are making all of their guns this well, CZ will be selling many more of them, its finish is simply excellent.
I prefer the PCR's rubber grips, serrated frame, loaded chamber indicator, and the trigger to my CZ75. I will try someday to replace the 75 trigger with the PCR one, it's more ergonomic.
I have a question however, if anyone here knows. Can this gun shoot +p ammo without damaging it? I want to try some gold dots in it.
We shot the PCR and the 75, alternating between them just to feel the difference. Definitely feels more "crispy" firing the PCR, but just hang your non trigger finger onto that very grippy front of the trigger guard to keep it down :)
This thing reminds me of a watch, it's so well made.
My shooting pal just ordered the 75 with the firepoint sight, we'll see how that goes.
Regards

The PCR/Hybrid is fully capable of shooting +P ammunition.  Its a good idea to replace the recoil spring with a heavier sprung unit if you plan on shooting alot of hotter loads through it.  Wolff is a good one.  I know the PCR has a 17# OEM spring, so an 18 or 20# replacement would make sense.  Your gun should still operate with FMJ's with these spring weights also.  Good gun you chose,  Congratulations.

Great review.  Great gun :D   I happen to want a PO1/Hybrid and will get one in the future..I love the full length frame setup.  You mention recoil...Ive gotta tell you I forgot how nice this gun was to shoot.  I carry a 357 snubbie and a Kahr k40 that are customed out a tad and the first time I shot my PCR...I was very impressed at how little it recoils.  I also use a weak hand finger on the trigger guard serrations.  Keep up the killer posts...Shoot well

The Gold_Dot 124 gr +P is a proven police.defensive laod.
If not the SENTRY +Ps, i'll carry the GD.

Should work very well in a PCR. I'm not sure of what Eric
told me today..as he called after i had a siezure.
Ithink he said that he found a way to lighten the trigger
pull even more, but insure 100% detonation.

No doubt, thru the use of even more Wolff Springs:)

Hope life is well CZ ;)   I did infact try a couple of different Wolff main springs in my PCR and need to really try them for a while.  Ive heard you can go as low as a 15 # main and still have 100% reliability...I am trying out a 17# instead of the 19# OEM unit.  It was smooth and consistant before, now its just ALOT better.  If it shoots like its supposed to Ill keep it in and be happy. Ive heard the 'anti spring comments".  Well just have to see how it does.
Shoot well
