Which version to get?
« on: September 07, 2014, 06:18:00 PM »
I've been looking at the various CZ75 configurations available, and can't seem to decide on which to get.

Specifically, I'm not sure if I should get the standard or Omega trigger.

It also looks like CZ offers a SA trigger option also.

Any suggestions?

I would go with the standard trigger and the dull stainless 75B if it were me but then I have an itch for this version that must be satisfied.

Take care

I was in your position not long ago. I would suggest gluing yourself to this forum for a few days (or weeks) and reading relevant sub-forums, stickies and threads (past and present). You may end up getting something you hadn't considered before.

I second Canuck44's suggestion.  The reason for the finish is aethetic; the reason for the trigger is I think it is more amenable to enhancement.

If it's possible where you live....... Find a range where you can rent and shoot a couple. Or at least if you can find a shop to hold some in your hands. No way to really tell you which one to get. I had to buy my Rami and Phantom sight unseen. Luckily I love them both. Also you need to decide what the use of the pistol will be ie: carry, target, home defense etc. hopefully that will help you narrow it down. Sorry but that's all the advice I can give. By the way, CZ's are addictive so you may end up getting more than you thought. :)

Welcome to the forum EZ.
I agree with viking 499 and others who asked:  What is going to be your "Primary" use for the pistol?
H.D., S.D./Carry, range fun, competition fun?

Recommendations for pistols that will be 98% range/fun gun and may sit on the nightstand for H.D  vs   a pistol that is 98% HD/S.D. and occassionally shot at the range  will get different answers to your question.
