Ditto to that - a tiny little Taurus TCP might be easy to pocket carry, but I like a sidearm that has the reach for any encounter, plenty of felon repellent on board, and reliability up the wazoo, so it's the Phantom. On the other hand, I have been known to carry my Smith Model 10-8 in this rig,

I carried my P-01 for many years as an authorized off duty carry, the first authorized CZ for the Dept. Still do once in a while, as it is still a fantastic pistol. But, as Widge/Grendel said, it's the biggest one you can comfortably carry that you are willing to dress around. At my age, I don't care if I look like a slob out and about - I've no one to impress.
