I fell off the CZ wagon - Purchased a Sig 1911

I couldn't help it  And my brother didn't come through with an intervention.

Cabelas (Boise) had a sale with "$200 off a Sig Sauer 1911" sale on this week.  They had a  1911 XO with a TacPac (three mags and a holster) for only $699.  I know that it isn't a Dan Wesson but I can't afford a DW either.

The sale flyer said that the -$200 price expires on the 30th.
I don't own a digital camera so I can't send a specific picture.

Just reading your subject header I could tell you are REALLY excited.  ;D

Before you take this 1911 out an shoot it you need to take a moment and examine your life priorities. These guns are about as addictive as CZs and you need to ask yourself if you really want to go down that rabbit hole.

1911s - Not Even Once


Nice Sig by the way. So was the sale ALL this week? You know just in case I'm in the neighborhood.

I own a number of 1911's, and went out on a limb 3 years ago and got the Scorpion version.  I have shot the snot out of that pistol, and it has been fantastic.  I used it for Single Stack USPSA, and in 3Gun Heavy Metal.  That pistol has flat out run through 16,000 rounds and just keeps asking for more.  Enjoy!!

I had 3 Sig 1911's at one time (XO, F Carry and ultra compact) and they all ran great. Get ready to buy another one.  ;D

I think its a great deal you got yourself there. Congratulations. SIGs are nice weapons. The only thing I would have against their 1911s is that they somehow make the slide look more like a SIG than a 1911. But thats personal preference only. Great discounted purchase!

Yep. They are good guns as I understand but I don't care for the looks. Everyone is different, some people actually drive Chevys :o

Welcome to the world of 1911. Everyone should have at least one..or two or three...
