It looks as though the pistol grip may have a bit more length to it.  Is that correct?

That is correct - grip and handguards are beefed up a bit.  Very solid!

I appreciate it!  The individual who sold me that stock set has them on ebay time to time.  They are made in Virginia.

RSR - thanks!  That was me indeed!  I am glad I didn't sell it though - keeping it after all.  It's going through a makeover.  I'll post some pictures here when it's finished.

Well, the make over is done.  The rifle has been refinished to Czech military gray and now has a bayonet lug (changed the front sight base).  The wood hand guards are a little loose.  Anyone had loose wood hand guards?  I was going to put a wood shim in there as per recommendation of the stock maker but curious as to any suggestions....? 

It is now a Czech Small Arms, threaded barrel with bayonet lug rifle.  I still may buy an original military wood stock....  It's a sickness

The FSB's and finish was all done by Troy at In Range.  Excellent and easy to deal with...  Besides my SLIGHTLY  loose hand guard (my issue - NOT a problem from In Range) I have no complaints.  EDIT:  Replaced  indoor shot with a sunlight image:

I appreciate it!  Forgot to add - I bought the cone flash hider direct from Czech Repub as per a link provided by RSR.  The finish on the flash hider and the rifle matched perfect...  I only had time to take a quick sunlight shot - which I used to replace an indoor shot above....   I recommend the gray finish!  I kept the tactical one in regular black.  The Barf glory rifle finish is the Czechpoint CP rifle version finish - closer to military finish IMO

Do you know if In Range used Duracoat for the metal finish?

Also, do you know if mikemanassas is the same person as behind Ironwood, or is this someone different? I assume from an earlier post it came with the hardware?

I do not think Mike and Ironwood are the same.  Mike is in VA and Ironwood is in Calif.   It came with all hardware good to go....

I didn't go with Ironwood as I lack basic skills (ie - am lazy) and didn't want to put finishing touches on it.  I got this off ebay from mikemanassas (for anyone who didn't read that).   He was excellent to deal with and I highly recommend him.  They (stock, grip, and guards)  fit rock solid but I had them out shooting and on and off a few times.  I think a couple small tweaks will make them rock solid again...   Seller also made matching bayonet handles.   I'm almost don't want to shoot it - but it'll get used!

I do NOT know what finish In Range used.  I went with them as it keeps my Czechpoint warranty intact.  Plus - In Range was highly recommended and did not disappoint!
