S.P.B.B. IS really how a jet engine works.  Tubine blades S.& P Pull in and Compresses the air.,   igniter for the injected jet fuel provides the Bang and fuel combustion and resulting expanding gasses through the nozzles provide the blow.    Igniter like the primer spark,  Bang like the powder blast.  Blow & Nozzles are kinda like a shotgun 'choke' focusing the BLOW.   ;D ;D.

Much easier to remember as suck, push, bang, blow.  ;)
