Buttstock Storage

Just curious if anyone utilizes the rear buttstock for any type of storage? I would think that with all of the empty space in the stock and a removable buttplate, it would serve well to store a small survival, first aid or even cleaning/tool kit.

With the wood, you might need to pick one.
With the polymer, it has a huge cavity that would support all of the above. That add'l weight towards the stock end would probably help the weapon to feel more balanced too.
