Gurus,

Can you advice what should be polished or recuded to make the SP-01 trigger reset shorter?

Thanks,

Jus

Unless you convert it to single acton, removing the disconnector and then installing the two-way adjustable trigger, I don't think there's much that can be done.  The long-reset is needed for the basic DA/SA design.

The two-way adjustable trigger lets you adjust reset/takeup.

In addition to what Walt stated you will also need to remove the firing block system and install a pre "B" sear to get a short reset and minimal over travel.  Even with the OEM sear you will still have a longer reset as you can not add metal to the sear to re time the gun.  With our sears you can time it to reset much sooner if the FPB system is removed but I would only recommend this on a competition gun.

most if not all of the reset issues that I found have been caused by the second set at the trigger comes forward first the sear resets then the FPB lever.
As Jim says pretty much the only way is to remove the firing pin block from the slide and the lifter from the sear cage, you can just remove and add a space but a pre b sear is obviously easier.
