Smitty,  that's a slick set-up.

Those same cardboard cut-outs of poppers and plates work for me with live fire  at the practice range on 1x2 stands.   White tape patches can be used to get a lot of practice on one set of plates/poppers.  The white side of the USPSA metric targets is what I use.

Beats carrying a 100 lbs of steel! ;)

Impressive. I will probably borrow some of your ideas for my routine.

Nice setup.  I use the 1/3 scale targets from Stoeger's Pro Shop and have them thumb tacked to the walls and cabinets in my upstairs bonus room and the adjoining hallways.  The longest distance I can get is 28', so that roughly translates into 28 yds using the 1/3 scale targets.

Using the arrangement of the doorways, walls, 90 deg corners etc... I basically have a few options for setting up different drills and try to use those in conjunction with the dry-fire drills in Stoeger's books.  I need to paint one wall a different color so the poppers and plates stand out better.  For now I just have them up against colored xerox paper.

Great idea.  Very productive, I imagine.

Next step, barriers, barricades and something with a 4ft port.

Get a target stand, two 1x2" lathes 5' tall and two metric targets.  Staple them one above the other for a make shift bianchi barricade, and/or cut a hole in it to create a port.  Light weight and portable.

Here is a poor picture of the one's I made and use every week at practice.  I have 6-7 stands, and make" Plates and Poppers" made from the white side of USPSA metric targets.   The 1x2 stands are separate from and hold the two upright target holders.  I use 4 TWO Inch office clips to hold the targets in place.
