My new SP-01

I am almost done with my SP-01:
I installed FO front sight, competition rear sight, competition hammer, trigger from CZ85 combat, lighter springs. The only thing I need now is to learn how to shoot it  
I am going to have a busy summer - I want to shoot SP-01 in production and my new STI Edge (I am expecting it next week from Dawnson Precision) in limited.

did you find the stock trigger to bite your trigger finger?? reason for the switch..

I have had people that have tried mine comment on being pinched by the trigger..but I have short small fingers..so I do not feel that..

tough choice..production or limited..both are a lot of fun..

yes, I had my trigger finger sore.
Initially I got SA trigger and was thinking about converting the gun into SA, then realized that production will be closed for such gun. Then, while making trigger job on CZ85 combat,  decided to get 85 combat trigger, so I could adjust stop.

Also, just as FYI, you'll have to throw some stock CZ grips of some type on the gun when you shoot Production, custom grips aren't allowed in Prod.  Some people use the the rubber, but alot like the stock checkered CZ walnut grips..... or the cheap plastic ones with skateboard tap on them (skateboard tape is legal).

I have contacted ISPSA with that question, as few of my customers were wondering if my grips will be allowed in production division. The answer was- the grips should be made in size and shape as original factory grips. So these grips will be fine.

Hey, wasn't trying to put a crimp in your business, just passing on what I thought was the rule.

I was going to buy some CZ walnut grips, but would rather buy yours, obviously.....

Thanks for providing such a great place to share information on these great guns.  I am anxiously awaiting my SP01's from Angus, but until they arrive I offer the followin on this topic...

USPSA Rulebook, Appendix D9, Section 21.6:

"Aftermarket grips which match the profile of the OFM standard for the approved handgun and/or the application of grip tape or rubber sleeves is permitted.  Modification to grips, other than previously mentioned, is not permitted, such as grooves cut to reach mag release or size reduction."

So I guess their should not be a problem with these grips as long as they in some way replicate the original grips.

Just replaced front sight with competition sight, which is a bit higher.
