CZ should have trigger kits

Since there are basically two versions of the SP01 I think it would be a good idea for CZ to sell trigger kits to convert the triggers of standard SP01s to the one in the Shadow.  While they're at it, since the CZs are based on the 75 architecture anyway why not have trigger kits for 75's, 85's, etc.  It would be a lot like drop-in action kits for the 1911s.  I think CZ could sell a lot of these.  I think we are all in agreement that CZs come with less than optimal triggers.  This would address that issue.

A drop in trigger kit is not really feasable. per say. But we do ahve parts that can be fitted to make the guns more user friendly and ahve for the last eyar or 2. They are available often from CZ and from me. They are not what I would call drop in. But can be dropped in. Know what I mean

Drop in is a misnomer, no such thing.  Angles for the trigger/sear need to be adjusted and no two pistol and the concert of parts are alike.

The hammer that CZ USa supply is a pretty good start at a drop in part although it does take some fitting especially the safety we have a bucj of board memebr ho have "dropped" in there own competiton hamemrs to great effect.

Actually there really are good drop in kits for 1911 style guns.  They come with  a Trigger, and then the hammer and sear have been stoned together.  All you have to do is "drop them in"....as long as your frame in spec.  They cost about as much as having a Smith, stone the sear and hammer, but they are true drop-in, and work very well.  Brownell's used to carry them and probably still do.  So in the 1911 they really aren't a misnomer

Yes, C&S and surely some other companies do make kits that work okay, but none of these will match trigger work done someone who understands the mechanics of the pistol.  In my mind 150 bucks for the C&S kit would be well spent towards an ultimate 1911 trigger job.  

1.5 lbs trigger that doesn't follow, that ain't coming out of a kit.

I havn't tried any of the drop in kits myself, as I do my own trigger jobs.  But I have tried regular Wilson Sear and Hammer combo's that aren't per se drop in parts and it's amazing how good they already are.  I've checked numerous setups and routinely get 3-3.5lbs on the trigger guage, and nice even and complete alignment on the Sear and hammer hooks.
  I'm not sure how many people are wanting anything lighter then 3 lbs or so here, since they are looking for Drop in parts.  If your dealing with a creepy 7 or 8lb trigger or more, then 3 or 3.5 and crisp trigger obviously feels great.
  I'll agree with you that your not going to get a Safe 1.5lb trigger with drop in parts.
