Removing firing pin safety.

Today I replaced sear on my SP-01 with preB sear, and therefore get rid of firing pin safety. I would definetely recommend this modification as my trigger pull went from 2ldb 11 oz to 2 pounds and 6 oz. Reset became shorter and I like this gun ever more now. Also I decorated it today with new fiber optic front site. Life is good :)

I've been considering doing that.  You could just leave in the sear and just take out the FPBS, right?

Is this a modification that should be avoided on a personal defense pistol ?  How much of a difference did it make to the reset travel ?

This is one you guys ought to ask Jim Miossi.  I don't think, properly tuned, that a CZ trigger reset is affected much by the firing pin block.

Walt is correct, it doesn't affect trigger overtraveling.
I ordered trigger from CZ85 combat, and will get and install it this week This (I hope ;) ) will help
Will report results.
