Let me reiterate, it's 450 reblued, with english walnut grips, 2 magazines, the original holster and 275 round of 9x18. I figure if I don't have to pay for an ffl or shipping then it's a more even deal.
Today, I would expect to pay $250 to $350 for a CZ82 in good-to-very good condition.
One way of looking at that deal is that: a) the walnut grips certainly add a bit extra to the value, and b) the second magazine (if it is a 'crossed swords' original CZ mag) with 275 Makarov rounds are worth an additional $100. An original holster and cleaning rod in excellent condition are only worth an extra $10 to $20 at most. That makes a decent $285 CZ82, plus the walnut grips, the ammo, and a second magazine seem to be worth something north of $400 to $425. With no shipping and no transfer fees that looks almost reasonable, if you really want it, the bore checks out, the pistol functions properly, and the magazine catch releases nicely from both sides.
As far as the re-blued finish, it probably does look better than most of the current mil-surps I see. It actually looks to me like the pistol was stripped and 'cold-blued', rather than the much more durable 'hot-blue' finish.
The CZ82 is one of my favorite, best shooting handguns, and if you can afford this one, I am sure you will like it. I myself would be
much more comfortable buying that package deal for $400 to $425 cash. It would not hurt to ask. Most folks who own one are not interested in selling it, and it has been a long time since I saw any in stock at the online retailers. I sold a CZ82 for $267 in October, 2014 and another one for $275 in October, 2013. They were not as good looking as the one pictured, but they were both fine pistols. If you keep looking diligently, you can find one for $300 or less.
I do not think this offer is a total rip-off, but the price seems a tad high. You can find and buy a lot of nice handguns if you have $450 available to spend and the time and patience to shop around.
