$350 + $25 ship + $20 FFL so $395. I'm pleased, it's in like-new (as in unfired) condition. No box or papers, no problem as I don't foresee parting with it. The nickel plating is in fantastic shape with just a bit of darkening on the rear right of the slide. It's been MiliTech-ed now so shouldn't oxidize or discolor any more.
It has 100 rds now, would be more but the slide stop spring was bent so it would hold open unexpectedly. It's fixed now.
What a pleasant shooter! The 380 factory loads are like nothing on recoil, closer to a .22 than 9mm I'm thinking. The girlfriend likes shooting it so that's a plus. (She's going to get a Bersa Thunder soon). She likes shooting my .22LR but not my 9s so much, so this will get her accustomed to a viable self defense pistol. Every time she shoots (anything) she likes it more and is considering taking a carry class and getting her permit, so she has a measure of safety when walking in her neighborhood. That was kind of the whole point of my getting into .380, but I like this CZ83 enough that that should have or could have been all the excuse I need!
You see, the shell plate and dies, bullets, and used casings set me back a bit too, but 380 is worth reloading for what they charge for a box these days. Her getting a 380 alone wasn't enough to get me to add the additional caliber reloading parts, but having one myself made it more acceptable. I'm just glad I'd missed the $239 CW380 Kahr that was on sale over the Holidays! That would fit in a pocket but not be fun to shoot! I like the fun part of shooting. That's why I like CZs so much.
