FINALLY found some new grips for my CZ pistol that I'm totally happy with! They are CZ Custom's aluminum arched grips. They're comfortable, fill my hand nicely, and give me a good, solid grip with zero discomfort.
Can you take a rear view that shows the thickness of these grips? Mine came with coco grips that feel too thin so I too put on Hoages. These look really nice, and I hope they aren't too thin.
Thanks!
Hi. If you follow the link below, it will take you to a page on the CZ Custom site that has a chart showing the width of our pistol's grip with various grips on it including the factory Coco Bolo grips yours came with. You'll see that it indicates the width of the a CZ 75 with the Coco Bolos is 1.38" across.
http://czcustom.com/CZ-75-85-TS-Grips-Aluminum-Plastic-Rubber.aspxThe width of a CZ 75 with the arched aluminum grips installed is 1.2" across, so they are slightly thinner than your wooden grips (see link below). That said, these grips feel thicker than they actually are. I tried a set of VZ Tactical Diamond grips on my pistol which make the grip 1.28" wide and they felt much thinner than the arched aluminum grips even though they are virtually the same. I can't explain the reason for this, but these grips really fill my hand well. It may be because they are arched to accommodate your palm swell, but I don't know. What I do know is that they feel and work great for me.
