T-120/Shark CGW trigger job

I got half my order from CGW last night, which was enough to do the trigger job. I stripped her down to the bones and polished all the mating points. Easy Peasy! The CGW parts are well made, but man do the pins go in tight!!! I used the trigger pin and it was a bear to get it through. And the pin that connects the trigger bar to the trigger was so tight I was afraid to use it. I didn't want to damage the 85C trigger. Though now I wish I had as it seems to be a point of friction? The trigger squeaks as it is squeezed?when I get home tonight I'll play with it to smooth it out a bit. But overall with the cgw hammer/sear kit and the over travel set screw on the 85C trigger the difference is night and day!

Congrats on your conversion!
CGW makes some awesome parts.
Think of the squeak as a unique option.  ;D (that would drive me crazy by the way)

I have had to open up that trigger/trigger bar pin hole to get a good fit in the past. There can be a bit of a variance on some of the parts specs. You can also reduce the diameter of the pins a bit.

Once you get all of the work done post some pic if you can, we want to see it!

Overall I love this trigger.  I found the point of friction.b I stripped her down again and used some white lithium grease on all the polished parts that make contact with each other and reassembled the firearm. It squeaked for 2 more pulls and resets then all was perfect. I adjusted the saftey set screw and used some blue locktite. (I bought some red, just in case the blue doesn't hold up.)
The 85C trigger with its over travel set screw is great! I have that just about as good as I can get it, and because of it reset seems much shorter too. 
I can't find my cheap RCBS weight gauge but I would estimate it to be some where around 3.5lbs in SA it is just a hair heavier than my flat CMC in my rifle (CMC is never consistent on pull but is usually 3#'s or under. Speaking of rifle I picked up a Vortex Razor HD gen 2 1-6x. I also picked up a new P-01 too.

CGW is getting a revised rear sight for their EZ/D 9/40 set and will be shipping me two pair sometime possibly this week. I butchered the grips on this, but will be ordering some "Lemon Graters" for it as well as the cz sight pusher. Unless some one on these boards is from NH and can lend me one to do the rear sights?

The only thing I wish I could do is a new barrel bushing on the T120

Be aware that the CZ sight pusher dose not allow you to fully remove a rear sight, with it you can get a sight about 3/4 of the way out. Then you must remove the tool and knock the stock sight the rest of the way out if its still tight in the dovetail. I have one and it dose make things easier but it is designed more for adjusting sights than fully removing them. Once you have fitted you new sight (sanding the bottem) you can usually hand install it half way or more then use the sight pusher to finish the installation.

That is exactly what I was planning on doing Tok. I think it will be easier to re - zero the rears with the pusher than the polymer punch they supply. That will likely be used to finish the removal of the rear sight as you stated

I have a cheap RCBS weight tester, that I dug out of storage. I was able to test the S/A which is 3.25lbs and results were very consistent. The DA pull weight is right around 8 lbs. I'll put more rounds down range with it next weekend I was able to take it out Saturday and only had a box with me and was short on time as it was. wverything functioned fine and was shooting great! I assume the D/A will lighten up as the mainspring gets a little more exercise.

my sights for the T-120 and SP-01 should be in today as well!

You mention a "saftey set screw". Is that on the stock T120 ,....CGW sear cage or both old and new cage?

What sight model # did you purchase for your T120?

I believe that he was talking about the adjustment set scerw that is part of the CGW adjustable sear. For clarity, the adjustable sear allows one to regain proper safety function after switching to a comp style hammer.
