Anyone come across a good holster for the SA yet ?
« on: April 19, 2002, 08:46:13 AM »
Good day gents, (and ladies)

Just wondering if anyone has come accross a good holster for the SA yet ?

Also, I was wondering why CZ-USA hasn't made some kind of arrangement with Mikes Or Fobus or Desantis to make holsters specifically for thier guns. Seems to me they would likely sell more guns if good quality, properly fit holsters were available for IPSC or IDPA or CCW.

Just a thought...

Hi, the CZ-USA catalog has the FOBUS holsters. Ber 92, but they fit the 75B.

Cen-Dex should have the 75B STORM to fit the 75SA,
The IDPA STORM now with CZ40Va was a tight fit
for my 75SA,,and Frank modified his molding to fix
this.

I've been hounding them for a 10mm Witness model.
and now they offer .45 Witness holsters:)

As for leather. NULL makes holsters for every CZ model
and if you know how good they are..you will buy one.

If not. then Czech out Tex-Czech, or Don Hume. The
Hume 75-CZ slide fits every CZ i own...for $20.80!

I use a Safariland 560, which comes in a paddle configuration.  It is an adjustable holster that can be used with other pistols having similar size and shape.  It is suede lined so it is gentle on the finish.  Safariland makes about 4 different sizes of the 560 to accomodate a wide range of pistols.

I have also used a Blade-Tec kydex holster.  This company has more items available for CZ's than what they list on their website.  The disadvantage with this brand is the expense ... more expensive than the Fobus or a Cen-Dex.  Shoot safe, and have fun!

I second the 560. I bought it originally for a Colt Commander but found that it fits the SA like a glove. It has served me very well for carry and IDPA. I have the optional belt loop but prefer the paddle much better. I highly recommend it.

Thanks Guys...,

One more question, anyone found and/or tried a EAA witness holster ?
I've looked at some pictures on the eaacorp.com website and the front of the slide is very similar to the 75SA in that it is not indented like the dust cover at the front of the frame.

Cheers,
Brad
