Dawson FO or CZ custom FO

Hey guys

I'm looking at a set of fiber-optic sights for my PO7. Which ones do y'all prefer, the Dawson Percision or the CZ custom shop ones?

Are you wanting FO front and back or just front?  CGW has a good set with FO front and black rear.

Both are quality products. I have them on 75s so mine might be a little different than the P series. I like the dual set screw rear and no drill front FO on the Dawson's,  but overall prefer the CZC comp rear and the no worry set of the FO front sight.. once that front pin is in its not going anywhere.

I've always been a big fan of Dawson Precision but I can't speak directly about sights for the 07 because I haven't looked at those specificly.

Dawson Precision is the only one I'll use. Cleaner and crisper than the others. CGW sells the Dawson Precision sights.

Be careful with the dawson and cgw fiber optic fronts they can be rather tall, thin and sharp. Put the sight set on a p07 and the front is so tall it won't fit in some holsters without dragging.

I took the heat gun to the front of my holster it was maid for a XDM but fit like it was made for the CZ.

am considering the same, but need some guidance- what is the height required to match the original front sight?  Guess from reading here I need to know both metric & standard heights

I just installed Dawson fiber optic sights (front and rear) on my CZ 75 Compact (9mm).  Best investment I made so far.  They work and look great.

^^^ True.  After CZCustoms installed Hi-Tac rear and FO front on my  P-07, I would find small shavings near the front sight when drawing. When I ordered my next holster, I asked that the sight channel be made taller.  Problem eliminated.

Dawson precision has 2 different sight heights on their website.  Cgw just sells the taller version

I don't know about the standard CZ sights, but for a CZ-75 Shadow with the CZC Comp fixed rear sight a Dawson .175"T is pretty durn near POA=POI.  For a SP-01 Shadow with LPA adjustable rear sight I have a Dawson .195"T front sight and I didn't have to adjust the rear for POA=POI when I swapped out the one that came from CZC. 

Dawson measures in standard from the top of the slide to the top of the front post.  CZ and their ilk measure in metric from the bottom of the dovetail to top of the front post.

I installed the fiber optic front and black rear DP sights on a P07 and the POA/POI was dead on at 25 yds.
